As an end of year treat the Friends very kindly paid for Reptylers to come into school to teach and show the children about the reptiles in their care. Children were able to see, and in some cases hold, lizards, snakes and scorpions.
On Tuesday 12th July, the Computer Science GCSE students from St Philip Howard came in to deliver a computing day for all the children. They had a session with each of the classes from Reception all the way up to Year 6. They organised a range of activities including: taking a computer apart and explaining all of the different components; algorithms with jam sandwiches and programming Beebots. Their behaviour was exemplary and we were very impressed by their knowledge and expertise.
