Night in the Museum
On Friday evening, Year 5 children and staff met at the Novium Museum in Chichester for an overnight stay. They brought their own sleeping bags, pjs and mattresses. The Museum provided lots of activities before the children settled down for sleep. Lots of fun had before a very prompt 8am collection the next day!

Spirituality Day
Last Wednesday we held a whole school Spirituality Day. Children in each class were invited to move around the school visiting different workshops. We were fortunate enough to have a team from ‘Soup from Heaven’ a charity founded from Yapton Free Church, come and share their faith and spirituality with the children.

Year 5 events
Year 5 have been very busy this term. For Fairtrade Fortnight, they played a maths trading game where they began to understand the need for fairness for trades in other parts of the world.
They received letters from their penpals in France. This is part of the International School’s project we are involved in.
They also went to TLA with schools from the Locality to take part in an art and drama workshop based on War Horse.
