Christmas lunch was served in the hall today – the children sat down to roast turkey and all the trimmings all served by the lovely office ladies! Thank you to the friends for donating crackers for all of the children.

Father Christmas Visits

Father Christmas flew in this morning – he visited all years and read a story – he even left a present for everyone! Many thanks to the Friends for organising Father Christmas’ visit and for the gifts the children received. Also huge thank you to the Friends for the money raised at the Christmas Fair

KS2 Christmas Service

On Tuesday, all of the children in Key Stage 2 took part in a Christmas Service in the Cathedral. Each class showed a section of the Christmas Nativity and told the whole story through acting, singing and dance. It was a beautiful service and the children’s performances were fantastic. Thank you to Miss Robinson for organising the music, to the teachers for all of their hard work and to parents for helping with costumes and learning lines.

Key Stage One Nativity

Congratulations to our younger children who reminded us all of the Christmas Story in their Nativity ‘Follow the Star’. They captured the real essence of Christmas and reminded us all that the story continues to this day where we are all building God’s Kingdom, here on Earth, through our words and actions.

On Friday evening some of the children in our school took part in Arundel by Candlelight. It is one of the most popular events in the annual calendar. Representing the true spirit of Christmas, it showcases the best in community activity. Our children joined Arundel C of E school by singing under the Christmas tree. Our children also carried Christmas lanterns that they had made in school. Thank you to all of the families who attended and made it such a wonderful evening.
