The Mayor invited our Year 5 children to hand over the petition which had been signed by 1601 people to Arun District Councillors. the petition is asking for a safe cycle path from Arundel to Ford station. The children made posters and spoke with the Councillors, explaining why they thought it was a good idea.

Last week, over 30 of our KS2 chidlren took part in an inter schools Cross Country event with oher schols in our Locality.

All the children did really well> a special well done to Harry for winning the boys Year 3/4 race and to AJ who came second in the Year 5/6 boys race.

The overall placing:

3rd in Girls Year 3/4 race

2nd in Year 3/4 Boys race

2nd in Year 3/4 Boys race.

We were invited to take part in the Mayor’s Service this week. Our choir sang alongside Arundel C of E in a joint school’s choir performance. The two schools sounded wonderful. Well done to the Brownies, Cubs, Rainbows and Beavers who took part too and some very confident readers.
