Year Six have signed-up to the CAFOD, Power To Be campaign. The aim is to petition the World Bank to allocated more funding for poorer nations to make solar power more available to schools, hospitals and communities. This will allow them to function more efficiently and enable people to reach their potential by being able to study at night (using solar lights). For more in formation, go to the CAFOD website.
Year Six will be inviting other classes to sign a sun-ray as well, and they will send the total number of signatories to the CAFOD campaign for inclusion in the final petition.
