St Philip’s opens it’s doors for a special open day
The first day at school for a 4 year old can be full of many emotions: What will the first day bring? Will you see your friends from nursery or the park? Will your teacher be kind and friendly?
The teachers at St Philip’s recognise this, and on Wednesday 5th November will proudly open their doors to potential parents and students for a special open day.
The open day will be hosted at the school, located in London Road, Arundel and will be split into two sessions: 9.15am-11am and 1.30-3pm. It is the perfect opportunity to meet the new Head Teacher Lucy Horne, discuss the school’s ethos and aspirations as well as have a tour of the school.
All the staff at St Philip’s, believe that every child is valued for the individual they are. All students are encouraged and supported to make the best of their abilities, to learn and grow academically, emotionally and spiritually.
Head teacher, Lucy Horne said: “We take enormous pride in witnessing that growth, in working with parents and carers to nurture their children’s potential and celebrating their excellent efforts, achievements and behaviour.
Discover more about life at our school, the achievements of our children and our involvement with the community in Arundel, West Sussex and beyond.”
There will be an overview of the school’s Music lessons, PE sessions, Playtime, Computing sessions and you will be able discover for yourself, how the school runs on a day to day basis.
