Sanctuary - Refugee charity visits our school

As part of a mini project examining the challenges for refugees and human displacement around our globe, Year 6 had a visit from Sanctuary, a charity based in Chichester, which offers support to refugees. The children had a talk from Waleed, a refugee from Iraq, who shared his inspirational story of difficulty and success. It was an invaluable experience for Year 6 to have the opportunity to hear first-hand, the life changing events experienced by many refugees around the world.
